The atmosphere is a mixture of gases that surrounds a planet which becomes thinner until it gradually reaches space. Usually, the atmosphere blocks dangerous rays from the sun, and helps keep the surface warm through the greenhouse effect. The atmosphere is also the place where weather takes place. In this tour we will examine the nature of the atmosphere of Mars, what it is made of, all of the layers of the atmosphere, and see whether the usual weather patterns are possible.
